The only Italian stage, among all the others in the ranking, Sicily wins the silver medal among the most popular destinations for tourists for the new 2020
New year, new ranking and new satisfaction: according to Forbes, the most influential US magazine worldwide in terms of trend, Sicily is the second among the best destinations of 2020.
Second only to Lake Powell with Antelope Canyon, between Utah and Arizona in the United States of America, our beloved Sicily is positioned at the second step of the podium in the list of the best destinations for 2020, drawn up by the Ovation agency Travel Group’s for Forbes magazine.
The only Italian stage, among all the others present in the ranking, Sicily thus wins the silver medal among the most popular destinations for tourists looking for new experiences for this 2020. But there is more because, always according to experts of Forbes, Sicily is also the best recommended European destination for the new year.
According to what reported by Forbes, the Italian island contains some of the most remarkable tourist sites in the world, including the legendary Valley of the Temples, where the remains of seven Doric temples are located in a breathtaking setting of almond and olive trees. A great satisfaction for the Sicilian island that feels behind its back by extraordinary landscapes of all respect such as the Douro Valley in Portugal, Dubrovnik in Croatia and Kotor in Montenegro.
According to Ashley Diamond, luxury travel consultant for Ovation Travel Group: “Sicily has an authenticity that has faded from many other parts of the world”. “Countries like Noto are famous for their Baroque architecture and limestone limestone facades.”
The Forbes.com website reads: “Forbes recommends traveling to Sicily especially for families and couples and invites you to explore the mysterious landscape of Etna, the largest volcano in Europe and one of the most active volcanoes in the world”.
A great way to start the new year on the right foot and which confirms, once again, that the American people are basically crazy about Sicily.
